A Learning Hub for Youth Workers: Training, Tools, and a Community of Practice
Youth workers are central to SISY. They are the people who turn a good idea into something that works in real life. That is why one of SISY’s core results is a Collaborative Learning Hub designed specifically for youth workers and organisations working with young people with learning differences.
SISY’s Learning Hub brings several elements together:
- A digital platform where materials and tools can be accessed and shared
- A Community of Practice (CoP) that connects youth workers across countries
- A MOOC offering structured learning content
- A certification pathway that recognises learning and builds professional credibility
- Mentorship matching to support more targeted, personalised guidance
Youth work is often creative, context-specific, and learned through experience. A Community of Practice helps bring that experience together: what works, what does not, how to adapt activities, how to communicate effectively, and how to create inclusive environments that truly support participation.
SISY’s CoP is designed to make learning continuous, not limited to one training session. If you work with young people and want practical, inclusive ways to use sport as a learning tool, SISY is building a hub made for you.
