Migration & Integration: How Austria Can Strengthen Social Inclusion
Empowering migrants through education and civic participation
Austria is home to thousands of migrants and refugees, yet social and economic integration remains a challenge. Many Third-Country National (TCN) women struggle with language barriers, lack of digital skills, and limited access to social support.
The EU Approach:
The European Action Plan on Integration & Inclusion (2021-2027) highlights the importance of education, employment, and community engagement in fostering integration. Austria can lead the way by ensuring:
- Digital literacy programs tailored for migrants
- More inclusive civic engagement initiatives
- Stronger support systems for migrant women and youth
EduChange Network’s Role:
Our LINK UP project provides migrants with digital education, career development resources, and networking opportunities to ensure their full participation in society.
